News Report suggest two children’s Nurseries closed in East Lothian due to E.coli outbreak.

14th August 2022

Several news reports are indicating that two children’s nurseries have been closed in East Lothian due to an E. coli outbreak.

The first nursery to be closed was The Pear Tree Nursery in Church Road which has been linked to 28 cases.

The second nursery Pear Tree Meadowpark was closed as a precaution after symptoms were reported from that location.

These news reports suggest that some children are in hospital in a stable condition whilst most of the cases are considered to be mild.
